Myra Hunter, senior communications specialist with AMERICAN’s Communications Department, has been named a senior practitioner by the Southern Public Relations Federation, a regional network of PR professionals across Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and North Florida. Hunter was recommended for this honor by her local chapter, the Public Relations Council of Alabama – Birmingham (PRCA-B). She was selected on the basis of years of experience, offices held and awards received, including top honors in recent years for two award entries, The @AMERICAN Project and Our Eagan Legacy. Hunter currently serves as vice president of communications for PRCA-B.
