Massmann Receives 2024 Benjamin G. Mason Award from Minnesota AWWA
AMERICAN Flow Control, Awards and AchievementsCongratulations to AMERICAN Flow Control (AFC) Sales Representative Brent Massmann on receiving the 2024 Benjamin G. Mason Award from the Minnesota Section of the American Water Works Association. This award of excellence is given to a section member who demonstrates exemplary service to the drinking water community and to Minnesota AWWA’s mission and goals. The award is named in honor of retired AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe (ADIP) District Sales Manager Ben Mason.
Massmann joined AFC earlier this year and has extensive experience in the water industry, including working for the cities of Bloomington and Eagan. For Minnesota AWWA, he has served as Young Professionals Committee chair and in several capacities with the Competitions Committee – Pipe Tapping, Hydrant Hysteria and Meter Challenge. Massmann is currently the Minnesota section’s Metro District Trustee and is responsible for conducting the annual Operator School, including training, education and the vendor show. He has also represented the section at ACE several times.
“This prestigious recognition is a testament to Brent’s hard work, dedication and significant contributions to the water industry,” said ADIP Senior Sales Engineer Chris Glassing, who is also a member and past recipient of the Benjamin G. Mason Award from Minnesota AWWA. “His commitment to the section has made a profound impact on our industry, and it’s inspiring to see someone so passionate about their work receive such well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing all the great things Brent will continue to accomplish and are excited to have him on the AMERICAN team.”
