Congratulations to Employee Development Specialist Kristie Rankin on being named senior fellow at the Education Policy Center for the University of Alabama in June 2026. In this role, she will support research efforts in AI and workforce policy.
“I’m excited to collaborate on projects with my new research fellows,” Rankin said. “This will help me further identify opportunities to enhance ACIPCO’s employee development efforts as well as support workforce readiness and long-term talent growth.”
Rankin holds a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Alabama.
The Education Policy Center assists the UA College of Education in fulfilling its mission to improve the quality of life for all Alabamians through expanding access to education and advancing economic and community development. The center’s research and programs help educators, policymakers and communities shape education in Alabama and beyond.
