ACIPCO Supports North Birmingham Park Revitalization Effort

Nine benches at the North Birmingham Park were recently repaired and refreshed thanks to ACIPCO. Over the past two months, Plant Maintenance employees Tommy Whitson, Danny Easterwood and Kenneth Kinniard removed worn wooden slats, painted the metal frames, and installed and painted new wooden slats.

North Birmingham Neighborhood President Sandra Brown had asked for ACIPCO's help in repairing the benches as part of ongoing efforts to revitalize the park and welcome residents back for community events, including an upcoming community fun day. "Improving these benches is long overdue,” Brown said. “We appreciate ACIPCO’s help to complete this project.”
