ASWP can fabricate reinforcing bands and J-slots (also called twister slots) for drilled shaft casing pipe. ASWP reserves the option to provide reinforcing bands by either fillet-welding a reinforcing band to the outside diameter of the pipe end or by complete joint penetration welding a thickened rolled plate to the pipe end. J-slot ends may be two-slot or four-slot. J-slot and reinforcing band details, such as plate material/grade, plate thicknesses, dimensions, any requirement for lifting holes, and welding details must be supplied by the inquirer.
