Disassembly Tools
AMERICAN Flex-Ring joints and Fast-Grip gasket joints may normally be disassembled if required. Disassembly kits, consisting of a steel shim holder and special high-strength steel disassembly shims, are required for this operation and are available from AMERICAN.
The AMERICAN Lok-Ring joint is disassembled with no special tools or accessories.
