Product Line: AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe

More than 20 years ago, Potosí, Bolivia, embarked on a massive project to bring much-needed water to residents after the area experienced drought on and off for 80 years. The San Juan River Project involved the installation of 170,560 feet of 16-inch and 20-inch AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe.

Congratulations to AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe/AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe Sales Engineer Wyatt Robinson on being appointed to the American Water Works Association’s Young Professionals Committee. Robinson’s three-year term will begin July 1, 2021.

AMERICAN’s ductile iron pipe in diameters from 4 to 64 inches is proudly made at our company’s headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. Since 1905, we’ve been making products essential to our nation’s water infrastructure and in turn, our nation’s public health and safety.

AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe and AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe Regional Sales Manager Jeff Blakely was recently recognized as one of the inaugural recipients of the American Water Works Association’s 5 Under 35 – Outstanding Young Professionals Award. The award is given to young professional AWWA members who have demonstrated outstanding service to their sections or the association through leadership and active participation in AWWA Young Professionals programs. Blakely was chosen from 23 nominees from North America evaluated on eight criteria.
