High-frequency-welded steel pipe to API Standards for the energy and carbon capture markets, as well as structural pipe for pilings and casings.
PRODUCT LINE INFORMATION
Coil steel is loaded into the receiving area to be flattened and then formed into pipe.
The flattened steel is slowly shaped into a pipe by a series of forms and rolls.
At the end of the forming process, pipe is created by high-frequency welding along a straight seam.
After the initial welding is complete, the seam is annealed.
The pipe is measured and cut to customer’s specifications.
The final process before quality assurance and testing. Beveling prepares the ends of the pipe to a 30-35-degree angle to prepare it for welding at the construction site.
