Angell Named AMERICAN Flow Control Vice President of Sales

David W. Angell was promoted to vice president of Sales – AMERICAN Flow Control June 1, 2023. A native of Dallas, Texas, Angell graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with his bachelor’s degree in industrial technology. He joined AMERICAN in 1992 as a sales representative for AFC in Houston. He transferred to Dallas in 1994, where he was named territory manager. Angell was promoted to area manager in 2007 and then AFC assistant division sales manager in 2012.

Angell is a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and previously served on AWWA’s Manufacturers/Associates Council and the Standards Council.

AMERICAN Flow Control manufactures and distributes products for the water and wastewater, fire protection and industrial markets. This includes the iconic American-Darling® and Waterous® brands of fire hydrants, as well as check valves, indicator posts, tapping sleeves, remote pressure monitoring technology and more.
