J.  Michael O’Brien, president and CEO of AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company, was inducted into the state of Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame on February 22, 2025. Throughout his career, O’Brien has worked to enhance engineering education and the industry.

J. Michael O’Brien has been named president & CEO of AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) following the retirement of Van L. Richey. O’Brien is the 11th president in ACIPCO’s 118-year history.
