In the March/April 2015 issue of Health Promotion Practitioner magazine, Wellness Manager Sheri Snow discusses the company’s WellBody program and its impressive return on investment.

AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company is one of two companies to receive this year’s prestigious C. Everett Koop National Health Award in recognition of its WellBody health and wellness program.

Sheri Snow, AMERICAN’s wellness manager, recently spoke at the 2013 America’s Safest Companies Conference in Atlanta. AMERICAN’s WellBody program, a risk assessment and incentive tool, was the topic of her presentation, part of a series of presentations at the conference on wellness best practices. Her talk included information about how the program works, ongoing efforts to keep employees engaged, and the measurable return on investment.

AMERICAN (American Cast Iron Pipe Company) has received the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award in recognition of workplace practices promoting employee well-being and organizational performance. The national award was presented to the company in ceremonies held in Washington, D.C., on March 6.
