Rosenwald Appointed to AWWA Manufacturers and Associates Council

Matt Rosenwald, senior sales engineer for AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe and AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe, was recently appointed to the American Water Works Association’s Manufacturers and Associates Council (MAC).

Rosenwald’s three-year term began in April 2020. MAC represents AWWA members in the manufacturing and service sectors, and provides policy input to the organization on behalf of its constituents. MAC is one of six councils within AWWA and council chairs serve on AWWA’s executive committee.

Rosenwald received his bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Auburn University in 2012. He joined AMERICAN upon graduation and was assigned to the Southwest Region, where his sales territories included North Texas and Oklahoma. In 2018, Rosenwald moved to Chandler, Arizona, and his current sales territories include Arizona, New Mexico, Southern Nevada, Southern Utah and El Paso.

AMERICAN has been an AWWA member company since 1907 and its employees serve in numerous volunteer positions on the national and section levels. Founded in 1905 in Birmingham, Alabama, AMERICAN manufactures fire hydrants, valves, ductile iron pipe and spiral-welded steel pipe for the waterworks industry and high-frequency-welded steel pipe for the oil and natural gas industries. Its diversified product line also includes high-performance fire pumps, structural casings and pilings, static castings and specialty rubber products.
