Phillips Named to AWWA Young Professionals Committee

Congratulations to AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe/AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe Sales Engineer Jake Phillips on being appointed to the American Water Works Association’s Young Professionals Committee. Phillips’ three-year term began July 1, 2023. The Young Professionals Committee provides mentoring and career-development opportunities for young professionals in the water industry and encourages younger members to take more active roles in AWWA’s national and section levels.

Phillips graduated from Kansas State University with his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in 2018 and earned his MBA in 2022. He joined AMERICAN in June 2020, and his territories include North Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Phillips is also a member of the Texas and Southwest Sections of AWWA.
