Members of ACIPCO’s leadership team recently met with state officials to express our appreciation for the state’s support of the company’s 2030 Initiative to invest in our facilities to expand capacity; to create more high-quality, high-paying jobs; and to partner with our neighbors to build stronger communities.

AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company and Specification Rubber Products took home top honors in the Birmingham Business Journal’s (BBJ) Manufacturing Awards on October 16, 2025.

On Manufacturing Day, October 3, AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company will once again recognize the work of its employees in manufacturing products that deliver our nation’s most valuable resources — water and energy — to communities.

Congratulations to ADIP/ASWP Northeast Regional Sales Manager Anooj Kothari on his appointment as Chair of the American Water Works Association’s Manufacturers and Associates Council (MAC). He has served on MAC for six years, including the last three years as Vice Chair. As MAC Chair, Kothari will also join AWWA’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

AMERICAN provided more than 54,000 feet of 42- and 48-inch ductile iron pipe, 27 resilient wedge gate valves and about 2,000 feet of 48-inch spiral-welded steel pipe for Hillsborough County’s $100 million South County Potable Water Transmission Main Project.

Buried 20 feet beneath the dense, urban streets of Phoenix, Arizona, is 66-inch spiral-welded steel pipe to ensure the city’s residents have access to clean and reliable water.

Tom Stanojevic has been named Director of Sales for AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe and AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe effective March 1, 2025.

Christopher Jarrett has been named Vice President of Sales for AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe and AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe (ADIP/ASWP) effective March 1, 2025.

On Thursday, October 17, 2024, AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company joins more than 1,000 water and wastewater utilities, public officials, business leaders, engineers and manufacturers for the tenth consecutive year of Imagine a Day Without Water.

ACIPCO was named Manufacturer of the Year by the Birmingham Business Journal at its inaugural Manufacturing Awards on Thursday, August 15. The company competed with manufacturers from across the state for awards.
