ACIPCO Shares the Holiday Spirit

For the sixth year, ACIPCO Members in the Community partnered with Boyd Brothers Transportation to collect toys for the Sugar Plum Shop at Children’s of Alabama. Toys collected are given to children who are in the hospital during the holidays.

“Seeing these toys gathered here brings back memories of when my son spent 10 days in Children’s in December 2021,” said Traffic Manager Barry Willingham. “As a parent, I know these toys mean a lot to the children staying in the hospital through Christmas, and I’m thankful for everyone working together to support the toy drive.”

Boyd Brothers Transportation Director of Logistics Beth Steed said, “ACIPCO is our one constant partner in this initiative. ACIPCO always steps up and, honestly, the donations are overwhelming each year. The partnership between Boyd and ACIPCO goes far beyond a load of freight.”

Prior to the holidays, ACIPCO also partnered with Hooper City to give out 100 food boxes to neighbors on December 2. Boxes were filled with bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese, grits, apples, oranges, sweet potatoes and more.
