Jonah Byrd Awarded 2024 MSS McClinton/Hannafin Scholarship
Awards and Achievements
Congratulations to Jonah Byrd on receiving a $2,000 scholarship through the Manufacturing Standardization Society’s (MSS) McClinton/Hannafin Scholarship Fund in 2024. Jonah is the son of Elizabeth and Jordan Byrd, ADIP Marketing Services, and a senior at Mortimer Jordan High School. He will attend Auburn University and study mechanical engineering. Jonah was also a recipient of a 2024 ACIPCO/Eagan Foundation scholarship.
The MSS McClinton/Hannafin Scholarship Program was established in 2011 and provides annual cash awards of $2,000 to dedicated engineering and material science or metallurgy students interested in the valve and fittings industry. The children of AMERICAN employees have received scholarships 15 times since the fund was established.
MSS is a nonprofit technical association for the development and improvement of codes and standards for the valves and fittings industry. AMERICAN is a member company.
