Congratulations to AMERICAN Ductile Iron Pipe and AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe Sales Engineer Zach Miller on his recent appointment as vice chair of the Young Professionals Committee of the New York Section of the American Water Works Association. The Young Professionals Committee provides mentoring and career-development opportunities for young professionals in the water industry.

Miller joined AMERICAN in July 2019 and serves the New York/New Jersey area. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

The AWWA New York Section represents the largest number of utilities in the state of New York. Its members represent water professionals and utilities that provide safe drinking water to more than 15 million New York state residents.
